Welcome to Australian Surfer International's Gold Coast surf school located in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia. The Surfers Paradise tourist precinct on the Gold Coast is Australia's tourist capital for domestic and international tourists.
My name is Shane Brazel and I started my Surfing Company 10 years ago. In that time I have been privileged to enjoy the spirit of surfing with many travellers, students and our local community on the Gold Coast. I have also been lucky enough to travel to 25 countries around the world as a backpacker and surf traveller. Just the other day, a couple of Malaysia boys and I went surfing on Surfers Paradise beach. You know they are Muslim lads and it shows that surfing is for everyone! We are famous for the Honda / Lexmark Indy 300 Car Grand Prix that runs through the Surfers Paradise streets and the best view is from the accommodation houses, five star hotels, budget hotels and backpacker hostels. This is an amazing surf city and there are many attractions to keep you or your family occupied when you come and stay on our beautiful beachfront city in luxury hotels or budget travelling. There as some things to avoid like Schoolies Week on the Gold Coast that runs in December every year - stay away if you can. All year round we have great weather and we have a mild winter where NSW & VICTORIA school holiday makers come to the Gold Coast and learn to surf with our surfing school. The North American summer sees many international tourists and we have a large student tournament for sporting games in our winter July - August every year. We are a specialist group surfing organiser for this event for the past 8 years. We also have many tourists from Asia - Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan and China. |
